Severn bridge tolls

Happy new year, Severn bridge tolls now rise to £6.50 for cars and motorhomes. Roll on 2018 when the bridges return to public ownership, will we see a reduction in tolls then, hopefully? Politicians here in Wales are jumping on the band wagon, Plaid Cymru
even suggesting £2.00 per crossing. Wishful thinking perhaps?
