Insuring an overseas resident for a motorhome swap

We have arranged a motorhome swap with a coupls in New Zealand.  We are going there in January and they want to come here for 6 weeks in July so it is an ideal arrangmement.

However, I have a problem with insurance.  I can't find any insurance company that will allow me to add a named driver who hasn't been resident in the UK for at least 3 years. They don't have the same restriction with theirr insurance company.

The only solution I have been able to find so far is DaySure, who will give temporary cover for foreign residents, but it is limited to a maximum of 28 days and they chagre over £400, which is more that I pay for my annual premium.

Does anyone know of a better solution?
