Porch Awning for Swift Charisma 535

We currently use an Outdoor Revolution Porch Plus Porchlite awning on our Charisma 535  but would like to upgrade and increase the size of awning space. ( Not to a full awning ) The gap between the side window and door is about 8 -9 cms meaning that the
foam buffer on awnings would interfere with the door. Would it be possible to fold the foam back and secure it out the way - Velcro or tapes. Or are there any awnings available without or with removable padding?
