Funny noise coming from our new motorhome

Finally we have our new Elddis 265 driven via peugeut boxer. Had a lovely weekend getting to know our new purchase... now on the drive but all night we are hearing a strange crackling noise coming from the right of the steering column on the drivers side,
clearly we need to contact Webs the distributor but has anyone any ideas of what this might be?
