Awning poles - weight saving

We've just a bought a new-to-us caravan that came with a 2 year old Dorema Supreme 270XL awning with Steel Poles.  The poles seem really heavy - it was used as as a seasonal caravan.  I know the advanatages and disadvantages of all different types of poles,
but what weight saving can I expect to get if I swap the poles from steel to fibre ones?  Any help gladly  appreciated.
