Elddis Autoquest 100 bodywork problems?

Hi I currently own a caravan but changing over to a campervan.The model I,m looking to buy is an Elddis Autoquest 100 but having done some checks I,v found some who have had problems with the aluminium bodywork pitting and then holing and it is suggested
it could be due to the softwood frame rotting and reactions being caused with the aluminium.I am trying to find out if this is a big problem with members and if anyone has encountered this and how easy it is to fix.Thanks.
