I am looking to buy one of the above .It is a 2008 model and I,ve heard that there maybe damp problems around the rear o/side wheel arch with the aluminium developing holes. There doesn,t seem to be a problem at the moment with the one I,m looking at.Is it
a common problem .

Any advice would be more than welcome. Thanks

Why buy a model that has known to have damp problems. If it does suffer you can spend months trying to get ift fixed. Poor manufacture and quality control. If you ever decide to sell it then the prospective buyer could be on hear asking the same questions. Look elsewhere there are lots of really good MH out there. If you are buying it because it looks like a bargin then someone is trying to get shut.

How does getting it checked professionaly give you some recourse later. Well yes when I checked it it had no damp. Now you have used it for a year and done 4000 miles it does. Try proving it had damp when they checked it.

There is even a post further down about damp.

Forgot one vital bit of advice. It has to be checked by Eldis Dealer every year for damp. If there is no paperwork showing it's been done by an APPROVED Dealer don't bother as Eldis will not be interested if you get a problem.

    Try Google Eldis Damp ..
