Mobile broadband

does anyone have any experience of using mobile broadband in the caravan/motorhome. I'm referring to the devices you can buy which allow numerous devices such as laptops/tablets to connect to it. EE and 3 are two companies who provide such a service, but
i wanted to get some idea of how good they are before i commit to probably a 2 year contract.
