New caravan, new tyres?

Just picked up our van after its annual service.  The caravan is three years old next month, but the service engineer has put an alert on the jobsheet advising us that the tyres are FIVE YEARS OLD!  As tyres of this age are liable to need replacing, we are
feeling a little miffed.  Look out, Lunar - letter on its way!
