Logik 12 Volt TV

Hello All I purchased a Logik 22 inch led dvd TV and it works fine on the mains adapter, but i purchased a 12 volt 3 amp adapter to work through the cigarette lighter socket on our abbey 2004 caravan and the TV screen flickers when running on the adapter,
has anybody had this issue ?

 

The TV runs off 12 volts so I’m not sure what is causing it to do this, any help would be appreciated. We purchased this for runing the tv when we are are not runing on mains power.
