The problem with your request is that tolerance to noise is so subjective. I have very good hearing and found no noise issues using the service pitches close to the road. There were occasional visits from the loud exhaust brigade in the evening. I think the road is a popular haunt. However, not really an issue.

I make the point subjective, because I also don't find the  noise at Gatwick site, where planes take off and land every few minutes, annoying.

Unsure why this is moneysaving or not.?? You have booked pitch, what's the issue? Most CMC sites can be noisy if you are sensitive.

Not only does this thread seem to be in the wrong section but it's five years old!

    One to delete, I think.

Well spotted TW. Did not notice that.

I certainly did not trawl it up, so why did it suddenly appear on the discussion page.

    Sorry don't answer that, I already know.😂

interesting, its not just 5 yrs out of date but 'almost exactly' 5 yrs out of date....

i wonder if other 'old' threads that have appeared (by magic?) are 'current' in day/month but the new system is not taking year properly i to account....seems a bit of a coincidence for this to appear at the top of a 'date sequence' listing.....

Well, such topics  tend to re-occur and so it saves the OP the trouble. Cracking website forum

Also of note is the fact they are always just the original OP. So unless they all never received any comments, these have been Deleted User. Presumably all the really useful threads, that disappeared in December, are all lurking out there somewhere in a similar state. ☹️
