Motorhome Service Points

Has anyone else despaired at the very poor design for the M/H service points on most sites. I have just been to Beechwood Grange, lovely site, but what a pain trying to empty the grey water. You have to drive over a manhole, that is then under the vehicle and can't be lifted!. It would be so much easier if the best practise designs were followed similar to that used on most Aires / Stellplatz on the continent.
