caravan 13 pin socket question

I have an older carvan with the 7-S and 7-N sockets. the car I have just bought comes with the 13 pin socket.

what I would like to know is, what would you recommend I do.

do I buy an adapter or do i rewire the two 7 pin's into a 13 pin?
