Following a visit to Beechwood Grange, York during the last bank holiday  (a site I have visited many times over the last 10-years) and the same old pitches are still flooding when it  rains. On this visit however  on 3 separate occasions did  more  pitches
flood, the wardens have tried to make people aware by putting red pitch markers in those susceptible, however many more were in a dire state. On the last morning all roads to the toilet block were flooded at some point, even in front of the warden’s office
the water was 2” deep. In summary the hard standings are in an awful state with many flooding 3 times in less than 5-days, even the children’s park had to close.

Beechwood Grange is in the main a hard standing site because it is open 10-months of the year but the state of the drainage absolutely appalling. The club need to get this site sorted, the problem is purely drainage on the hard standing pitches and 4 key
points on the road network around the site that need drains installing or the pitch of the road altering. I've written to the club directly, with photo's, but so far no response so I've decided to post it here !
