Solar trickle charging

Morning. We live in Surrey but have moved our caravan to Anglesey pending a permanent move there. The van is alarmed and I normally change the battery (I have a spare) every 2/3 months. Now the van is 300 miles sway its not quite as easy. What are the views
on solar trickle chargers. Would one keep the battery charged over winter? Is there a particular model that is recommended? Many thanks. Mike
