Serious Thread; how do you cope?

I know that we quite often see nervous threads from soon to be first time solo caravan/motorhomers looking for some advice and reassurance.

Well.... in 12 days I will be embarking on my first non-solo trip for four years.  I'm really not sure how I will cope!

Bar the obligitory awning row (I even have  a 'new' secondhand one with no instructions just to add to the fun)... how do you live in such close quarters in harmony?

How will I pretend that I'm allowing my companion to help me, whilst actually maintaining my stubborn independence?

How will I fit all the stuff for two people in to the caravan when I have so carefully allocated space for all my stuff?

Am I just too selfish?
