toyota land cruiser OR mitsubishi shogun???

Evening,

i am in the fortunate position of being able to purchase a large tow car purley for towing the twin axel caravan and for my wife to use when it snows/ very bad weather whilst on her midwifery rounds.

the two vehicles short listed are the toyota landcruiser and the mitsubishi shogun, my ££ i want to spend on tow vehicle is £6k - £8K i have short listed these do to good reliability reviews.

are there any of you fine folks had experience of both ? or any advice will be greatly recieved.

the running costs are irelevent really as this vehicle is only going to be used as i say for the wifes rounds and towing the van, we will use our normal cars for everyday driving.
