Folding bikes

looking at getting a couple of "reasonably priced" folding bikes. I have noticed that they range from £100 to£1000 plus. I don't want to compete in the tour de France but dont want a Friday afternoon bike. Any advice where to go and what to look for would
be good. I was looking to see what was about at the NEC.
