Over weight caravans

I have just come back from a site and noticed an Eternity twin axel on the next pitch. I did look at these at the last shoe but the weight (2200  kg) meant I would also need a new tow car. This van had a triple bike rack on the A frame, a roof mounted sat
system, air con and dbl motor movers all pulled by a Honda CRV, nice car but the van was probably a 1/3rd heavier than the car, do people not realise the importance of getting the ratio right.
