Volvo XC60 D5

Good afternoon all,

Having just returned from an epic road trip from South Wales to Scotland and back, I am itching to chnage my tow car.  Out little BMW X1 18d got the job done, but struggled in a few places, most notably the climb on the A590 as you head towards Coniston
Park Coppice.  We have had an XC60 loan car for a few days (thanks to someone rear ending our other car) and absolutely loved it.  Do any of you own an XC60, or know of any pitfalls we should be aware of.  We averaged 28 mpg in the BMW over a total of 1100
miles (800 miles or so towing), what could we expect from the Swede?  and what sort of real world solo mpg are we likely to achieve?  All opinions most welcome.
