Power supply in awning

Apologises if this is in the wrong section.

We recently purchased a Waeco awning freezer, and was wondering about how we could connect the caravan to the EHU differently. I was concidering using a 2 way connector on the end of the 10m or 25m cable, with one of the outlets going to the caravan using
a 2m cable and the other outlet going to an electrical camping socket, with a RCD, also using a 2m cable. This would give us the power supply to the freezer and the option of connecting other electrical equipment inside the awning. As I see it, as long has
we keep below the maximum amps, I don't see a problem. But it there any issues that could arise from using a 2 way connector?
