Dometic Fridge - No Power

We are on site and cannot switch the Dometic Fridge on.

We first suspected a problem when we hooked up the van to the car and the fridge wouldn't switch on to charge.

Then on site we connected to the mains and still cannot get any power. We press the power button on the front of the fridge and there is no response.

This is our first trip out this year and we are relatively inexperienced caravanners.

Everything else is working. Any help much appreciated.
