In the latest Caravan Club magazine there is a full page ad for lost vehicle key insurance at £9.50 for a year that covers all keys attached to the provided fob.
Now I thought that was a good deal so thought I might partake of the offer. Being the suspicious b*gger that I am I thought I would readthe policy document FIRST!! Good job too as, buried in the small print, I found a couple of limitations that I feel are a
tad "Naughty"
1. Cover is ONLY whilst in the UK (so of no use if you are abroad!)
2. They will not pay out if "Duplicate keys are available to you" how many of us only have a SINGLE key for our vehicle or house???

What at is the definition of "Available to you" With your other half, at home, etc etc.
So basically the insurance isn't really worth it due to the above conditions being so restrictive. I for one will be looking elsewhere but it annoys me when companies bury such important information in the small print. Clearly they don't want you find out the
limitations until it's too late.
