Route Planning vs Handbook Directions

Just booked a week at Low Manesty Cumbria and  then ran the Route Finding programme (Sat Nav not Recomended) which gives the exact opposite instructions as referenced to the Handbook Site directions. I would have thought that the Route info. would have been
checked against the Site info???
