solar panel / Damp warranty
Hi all, we're desperately wanting to get a solar panel permanently fitted to the roof of our Bailey Barcelona. 99% of the time we have no EHU as we camp at Flyball competitions most weekends throughout the year and when the van is in storage there’s no EHU
either so we have to rely upon a Genny to keep the battery topped up which is far from ideal. My concern is, one of the reasons we bought this van was because of the 10 year water ingress warranty but having contacted Bailey they say if damp is caused directly
by having the panel fitted (cable entry hole) then this will not be covered I even asked if I could take the van back to the factory and get them to fit it as they do one on this years model but they declined. So has anyone either come up with a way to run
the cable in permanently without drilling the roof or know of an installer (Yorkshire) who will provide their own warranty on the install please. any advice / thoughts greatfully received
Stuart
