MTPLM upgrade kit

Hi I'm just about to order a  Max Upgrade Kit for my Bailey Barcelona this takes the MTPLM up to 1800kg an increase in permissable load of 114kg.
My tow car can take this new weight, whilst I don't think I will need all the extra weight I'd hate to get stopped, weighed and done for being a few Kg over if I can avoid it. apart from the cost (£60 for a sticker!!) can anyone think of a reason I should't
