Pembrey Country Park -any info or tips?

Planning our holiday for next year - Mega arguments amongst the tribe until we saw the article in this months magazine about Club Together and suffice to say we have now booked our summer holiday at Pembrey Country Park CC site (Thank you TheAdmiral) as
it seems to tick the boxes for three active kids and two active Springers. Any hints or tips from those in the know would be appreciated (e.g. best time to go to ski slope and toboggan ride) and we are also looking for a nearby kennels that have day care facilities
as we normally take a day off without the dogs to go to a place where they are not allowed (e.g. zoo or similar). Any recommendations on  kennels would be appreciated rather than taking a stab in the dark.......
