Nissan Pathfinder towball height

Hi I have a new Nissan Pathfinder and towing is a nightmare there is a lot of stability issues as the nose of the caravan is high. I need to lower the dealer fittedtowball i have seen on other websites that this is a common problem but I cannotfind a resolution.
