woo! more done on the van :)
I've been restoring/doing up a 1990 Swift Corniche 14/2E - its now not far from being done! Today after work managed to get my newly refurbished wheels, new tyres, resprayed wheeltrims back on the van - and the new decals applied (since the others had faded
to white) - sooooo happy! - i just want to get it out somewhere as soon as possible - last thing really that needs doing now i think is some work to the seats so the slats hold on better instead of slipping down when you shuffle about - and another
clean
Since getting the van, ive given it a massive clean inside, fitted and wired in new interior lights, fixed a broken light cluster, re-veneered faded paneling throughout, fixed the shower and got new pipe and head for it, fixed the thetford cassette loo flush
tank, fixed the oven door, replaced kitchen microswitch taps, installed new water inlet and filter housing (+new water pump to go with), replaced some wood under the van which was part of the floor which had been damaged from some old water damage and resecured
the front right corner steady, removed all windows, resprayed their trim, replaced 3 broken window arms... fixed the handbrake.. installed new skylight.. and theres a couple of other things i cant remember right now.. All in all - its my current hobby doing
