Tow car advice
Has anyone used a VW Transporter or Peugeot Expert as a tow vehicle? We are looking for a car/van that is an ideal day-to-day vehicle for taking the dog out, taking rubbish to the civic amenity site, carrying 2 bicycles or mum in laws mobility stroller etc,
etc...... But it must also be used for towing a caravan and, occasionally, used as a camper van for short breaks. The ubiquitous VW Transporter fits the bill but is a little large for my daily commute on the narrow Cornish lanes. Our current outfit is a Citroen
Berlingo (which suits our every day needs perfectly) and a Venus 380/2 (which we want to trade in for something bigger: 1500 kg max). I welcome the opinions and advice of other members. I mention VW & Peugeot but we are open to suggestions.
