Awing for Sterling Europa 500 - 1995

Hi all - I am new to touring and to The Caravan Club so am hopeful I am posting in the right area. I have just bought a Sterling Europa 500 - 1995 model and would like to take our dogs on hols with us. Would they be ok in an awning...? And if so, what size
would you recommend...? A porch or full size...? And does anyone know the right size for my caravan...? Sorry for so many questions. xx
