M25 sick joke

I have just dicovered the joke perpetrated by officialdom on motorists using the M25.  Was travelling anticlockwise from M1 past Heathrow and on to the wilds of Kent. at 16.30 hrs.  Traffic was at a standstill and every so often lurched forward a few feet
and stopped again. The overhead gantries were suggesting that we kept our speed down to 40 mph!  The speed enforcement camers were live - what a joke!  Traffic jam still continued past the airport and past the M3 junctions.

Probably cheaper to have gone clockwise and paid the toll charge.
