Rear view cameras

I am thinking of fitting a rear view camera to my caravan. I have three options in mind.

1. A radio link from camera to car.

2. A wired system using the spare (14) pin on the usual connector.

3. A wired system using a separate connector.

Option 1 is the easiest to install and would be my choice, but several reviews suggest transmission problems and interference. Has anyone tried option 2? What sort of connector is robust enough for option 3? Any information or comments on any of the above
would be welcome.
