Qashqai 1.5 dci

Does anyone tow with a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dci?  The kerbweight should be all right for our Bailey Monarch series 5 but is the 1.5 diesel engine up to the job?  I know that the 2.0 would be better but it is more thirsty.
