Easter break/cut short

Hello all,  we were looking forward to our weekend away at Easter.  We arrived on Thursday, our dog, Coco, started coughing and chocking (we thought she had something stuck in her throat, because on Wednesday evening she had a tennis ball which she ripped
to pieces).  Poor mite was ill all night, we stayed up with her, and took her to an emergency vet on Friday morning.  She told us she had kennel cough,  so we had to take her straight home, came back for the van (the site owner had 2 dog, so we had to apologise
to her and told her to keep an eye on hers.  Coco is now on antibiotics and is doing well, but what a terrible cough it is, just like a child with whooping cough!  So we had one night away, what a nightmare.  Lynne
