Corelle Dinnerware

Hello, has anyone tried Corelle Dinnerware?  When we started caravanning in the 70s I used ordinary plastic plates and they were terrible.  I haven't tried any melamine.  So I now use china plates which can be heavy.  If you have bought these, I would be
interested in knowing what they are like.  Thank you
