Setting up (or buying?) a CL site

We're Chris and Julie and we're looking at buying land with a view to building a wooden home and creating a CL site. We've stayed on many sites across the UK and in Europe so we've seen what's on offer and we're inspired to set up our own. Having read through
some of the posts here, I can see what life is like for owners to a certain extent so I thought I'd see what hints and tips might be out there. So whilst we're putting the land/building plan into action this year (we're based near Cheltenham), anyone willing
to offer advice on setting up a site, warts and all? (I have downloaded the CC PDF). Any sites for sale (that's plan 
? Anyone know of land for sale in Worcs/Glos/Hereford/Summerset? (have to ask, all part of using the network!).
