This recently refurbished CL is ideally located for access into theNorth Pennines. The site has five huge hardstandings, each with hook up & water supply. A dedicated shower and toilet is also available to site users with the entry code from the pub staff.
The site is far enough away from the pub to not suffer from any noise pollution at all.  CDP & waste water disposal is located at the entrance to the site along with a refuse container. However there was no recycling available which, in this day & age, is
unusual.

Adjacent to the site is the Tees Railway Walk which heads east to Romaldkirk & west to Middleton-in-Teesdale. In fact there are numerous walks from Mickleton, and one circular 7 mile walk taking in Eggleston & Romaldkirk, passed 4 pubs!

The Crown is open all day [from 10 am] and has a superb menu available as well as three local real ales. With really friendly & enthusiastic staff & with the addition of WiFi access in the pub, what more do you need from a site!
