Scottish Borders CLs

We have RWC 2015 tickets for St. James Park in Newcastle in early Oct and want to extend the trip into the Scottish Borders for some "wilderness walking" afterwards. There don't appear to be all that many CL's in the area. Recommendations for any [CL; CS;
commercial] quiet/small sites in the area would be gratefully received. Ideally to be able to walk into the "beyond" directly from the site. A big "ask" I know!
