I visited a site in North Yorks.  The site is accessed by a wide private road. On approaching the site there are 20 signs. Then a 90 deg left bend into the site. I did not count the signs here, but there are 9 telling me not to walk under the barrier. There
were lots and lots about the  5 mph limit, lots and lots about dogs; interestingly one about  parental responsibility for their children. Signs.  Not one said  'Welcome'
