Would like to use this road to go from Inverness over to the west coast, not a route we have ever taken before.
I have read an article on the road, not bothered by the single track sections, but it reports a 1 in 7 gradient , both up and down on the section between Strathcarron and Attadale.
Has anyone experience of this route? We are towing a 1900kg twin axle with a Volvo XC90, usually plenty of power.
