Warranties - are they worth having?

Hi all I have been waiting for a strip light fitting in side bathroom cupboard Been waiting for six months know dealer lowdhams huddersfield 15 emails 10 phone calls still waiting for phone call back sign of the times. even tried to email swift no reply.Im even willing to pay for oneif i could find one. Was going to buy another new motorhome from lowdhams end of this year they have no chance now...........
