Bury (Lancashire) to Barmouth

Hi, can anyone suggest the best route to get to Barmouth.I have been given different options,ie A55/Banger then A487,seems the long way round.A55 then A470? The one which i favor is A55/A494 past Bala,then A5104/A496. Any ideas or suggestions most welcome.My
caravan is a single axle 24 feet long fleetwood.Thanks in advance.
