Front tow ball

We have just moved to a new to us storage facility. The old one we could pull onto this one have to reverse into, it's a bit tight so are thinking of getting a tow ball fitted to the front of our tow car. Has anyone got any experience of front tow balls.
Any opinions on their usage would be appreciated .
