Service costs

recently purchased a ssangyong korando,and booked it in for an interim service which is basically oil and filter change,a quick glance that everything eg brake pads,tyres ok a valet and plug into computer for updates,quoted £200 yes really,last car skoda
superb £129 for last interim service, am i out of touch or has servicing gone up in last 6 months, would like to know how figures compare with others like sportage, quashqai kugas etc

    Try a decent independant, as long as they stick to manufacturers service schedule, you'll keep your warranty, and i'm sure they'll be considerable cheaper!
