WiFi on CLs

After just returning from three weeks holiday in the South East of England, I found that although WiFi was advertised it was not available on any site we visited.. While not a deal breaker, would influence my choice if there were a number of sites in the
aerea I wanted to visit.  At one site I was told I had to sit in the garden to get any signal which still did not work.

If WiFi is advertised should it work or am I being unreasonable?
