Bailey battery charger not working

Belatedly I realised the battery charger was not working on our Bailey Pageant Provence. Did lots of checking voltages and searches on the internet as I was not sure if the charger needed a battery in place to work. Finally I came on a forum where someone
mentioned that an expert had advised him to check if a plug had worked loose in the combined control/charging unit. 

I freed the unit from it's mounting then removed the front cover and sure enough there is a three pin plug and socket, the plug was indeed loose so I pushed it back in and everything works fine.

I just thought I would let everyone with a Bailey know about this as it is clearly not the first time it has happened.
