See-through windows in caravan washrooms
I had noticed driving about that some caravans were fitted with clear windows in the washroom, so I was not too concerned with my new (to me) van having a clear window as I had a roll of opaque sticky-backed plastic for just that purpose. I guess it is cheaper
for the makers to need less variety of windows in the factory stores.
What a faff it was to fit the plastic sheet on around all the window catches!! The more I tried to smooth out the creases and bubbles the worse they got, and this spring they are very noticable and therefore a repeated topic of comment from my travelling
companion.
So - has anyone got any experience of the "spray-on" frosted glass effect being used on the plastic caravan windows. I have used it on glass and it is very effective, but as it is solvent based it might well etch into the plastic.
