AwayDaze Caledonian Awning leaks!

We are new to caravanning and used our newly bought Bailey Pageant Bretagne Series 6 caravan over the weekend. Unfortunately, our Awaydaze Caledonian awning that came as part of the deal leaked badly during Sunday's rain, where it joins the caravan!
One thing we did notice was that the awning came in boxes labelled 'CALLADONIAN' rather than 'Caledonian'. A tag stitched into the awning also has 'CALLADONIAN' on it. Does this indicate lazy product marking or a counterfeit product?
