Hello everyone. I have a Peugot Autosleeper motorhome and I haven't been able to get the water heater to work since I used the heating (hot air) a few months ago. Can anyone please help?

Hi which AS motorhome do you have?

    Can you describe the controls?

I will try to help but if I cannot you could phone Mark at the AS service centre the number is 01386 853511.

He may ask you for the production number which you should find inside the glove compartment.

Hi Chris, Thanks, I will get Mick to reply to you this evening as I'm not sure of the details. Thanks for your quick response, much appreciated. Regards, Deb :0)

Hi Deb It would probably be better to phone the service centre today if you can get a message to Mick because they will be closed over the weekend.

I may be able to help, I am on my 5th AS motorhome, but I cannot guarantee it.

as tou mention hot air heating, its fair to say we are talking about A Truma Combi E.

people fall into two categories with these, those who understand the controls and how they work, and those that dont...

the controls can be confusing and the unit doesnt actually work in exactly the way that many think it does or should....

my first port of call would be a friendly camper close to you on site, many, many of these Truma issues can be resolved with a second pair of eyes and an understanding of how to reset the unit of that fails....

there are a number of user tests you can do.....have you tried it on gas?....on electric?.....heating only?......water only?....etc

your going to have to give more info on the symptoms etc for someone on CT to be able to assist or diagnose....

Many thanks Chris and Boleroboy. Mick is going to have a better look at it tomorrow and put more info on here. Our motorhome is a Symphony Autosleeper.
